This donut was homemade! Digitally that is...
Following the tutorial from BlenderGuru on youtube I managed to learn a bunch about how Blender works and how to solve a number of problems I was having with other projects. This next video is me trying to understand armatures and bone placement. The movements were generated with noise with a random model I threw together and added some lights to to make it perty. The material on this is quite reflective and shiny so that the lights can bounce off and look as perty as I wanted them to.
This video is more or less the same thing as before. A different model with a slightly different armature for the bones. There's additional lights and the spinning camera like before and like before I wanted to do something different, so the material for this is a little different than the last one. More rubbery, less reflective and it looks like it'd almost feel like one of those stress balls you see at therapist's offices.
This final video is a boney mess. It has 72 bones in total and each of them need the x, y, and z axis modified with noise. So much clicking!!!
